Cheerleaders like Kedar are soul of Indian Socialism

What I really like about socialism in India? Colourfully clothed diehard cheerleaders like Kedar. Almost in every conclave of the Samajwadi Party I run into witty minds like this gentleman. Their passion for the socialist movement is powerful and puritanical.

Unfortunately, many leaders of the party don’t attach great value to such soldiers. In fact, the affluent segment of the party look down on these flagbearers as if they are circus clown. Mostly they have been running around spreading the message without adequate response and support from the organisation.

Imagine the gravity of their struggles and sacrifices for they all have been away from homes for months and years.

Newly elected president Akhilesh Yadav should invite all such cheerleaders over lunch or tea and Issue strict instructions to the office bearers in the state to look after them.
