After landing on the soil of Azamgarh, a popular fortress of socialist movement in the eastern Uttar Pradesh, charismatic socialist leader & former UP CM slams both Modi and Yogi government in a smashing way at a roaring, mammoth rally. Former Chief Minister belted out a very hard-hitting speech lasting an hour. He blasted UP CM Yogi Adityanath over his fledgling administrative record and gross insensitivity over the continuing children tragedy in Gorakhpur hospital.

The next government in Centre will not be of the BJP. Narendra Modi’s government has become the most unpopular in its last three year tenure. People are not going to vote it back to power. The youth and farmer have no share in the Central government. Not a single promise has been fulfilled in the past three years.

There is a popular village proverb, Poot ke paon paalne mein hi nazar aatein hai. It’s true epigram to define the performance of the Yogi’s led BJP government. In only its springtide, the government has rocked the cradle and turned wayward.

“Yogi Adityanath is crying foul of Dial 100 service as he has lost the grip on deteriorating law and order. Despite being the head of government, why is he grumbling? UP CM is struggling to prevent rising tides of corruption too. During my tenure, the same police force was doing commendable job. How did the same police force turn over so bad in performance shortly after the swearing in of the BJP government? Yogi should be wary of the growing malfeasance, graft and demoralization of the police force lest people should vote the BJP government out of power in 2019. There is total breach of trust between the public and the government. Both Central and state governments are fiddling with people’s expectation, exploiting emotions and further round of crookedness will only dig more deeper ditches.

A new government should avoid malevolence. However, BJP government has history of working with malice towards the opposition. The ill-will and heartburn of the BJP had been in full public display for long, especially their grudge for Samajwadi Party’s development works are for us all to see. Then, why did they black out constitutionally valid ‘Samajwadi’ word from popular people’s projects and facilities, like Expressway and Ambulance services.

I built the country’s longest green-field expressway, linking Taj Ganj with Hazratganj (Agra-Lucknow), thereby, bridging the vast gulf between national capital and state capital (New Delhi-Lucknow). However, Yogi’s government doesn’t have the skill and stamina to build the Poorvanchal Expressway. Had Samajwadi Party not been voted out, Poorvanchal Expressway would have become a reality within the record time like the Agra-Lucknow e-Way. BJP government, in fact, has not allocated any fund for the e-Way in its budget. Rather, they are banking on the largesse of Central government of Narendra Modi. Now that time is running out for Modi government, it is utterly impossible for it to introduce any budget for the motorway.

“I can give a piece of good advice to Yogi’s government. If at all it is committed to building the Poorvanchal Expressway it should put pressure for earmarking separate fund in the forthcoming last budget of the Modi government. Because there will be no chance of forming the government again for the BJP.”

“People of the BJP are crazy like fox. They are crafty and tricky in their campaign. Such is their oily tongue while lying that people fall for their fancy footwork. Therefore, Socialist workers must thought out a plan to prevent people from falling into the traps of BJP’s sly boots. More than ever it has become our duty to warn people about the dishonesty, deception and defrauding of the BJP regimes.”

“We socialists have to win the hearts of people sooner than later. The path of national development was none other than envisioned by socialist visionaries. People, nowadays, are confused with bloated talks of ‘New India’ after hearing the cacophony of ‘Achhe Din.’ People are wondering about the slogan, New India.”

“Salad days of youth are finished. There is neither job nor any prospect of bagging any jobs. Farmers are in the throes of both social and economic distress. Modi’s government at Centre and Yogi’s government in state have no roadmap for ending the hopelessness of youth and farmer. By imposing economic emergency with demonetization, precious little savings of poor people have been taken away. Yet, there had been no concrete programme for youth and farmer.”

“Farmers grow food for our nourishment by sweat, blood and tears. Farmers’ sons are guarding the national frontiers. They sacrifice their lives to keep the country safe and sound. It is worth mention that the majority of soldiers in our armed forces are sons of peasantry. We are very proud of our soldiers and the army. They are standing tall in the face of Himalayan difficulties on the border. Ram Samujh, Azamgarh’s son of the soil, was merely 22 when he served in icy heights of Siachen, one of the world’s most dangerous borders, and sacrificed his life for the nation.”

Charismatic socialist leader poses a very important question to Yogi Adityanath and the BJP shenanigans over continuing children tragedy in Gorakhpur hospital.

“BJP had run a communally divisive campaign, often tossing politics of Hindu-Muslim. When socialist government helped people in the difficult situation, we were falsely accused of helping one community more than the other.

I ask why higher numbers of dead children in Gorakhpur hospital are Hindu? Moreover, amongst Hindu, newspapers report points out that majority of dead infants belong to OBC, SC/ST and Minorities categories. Why they are allowed to die? I can feel the sorrow of a mother who has lost her beloved child.

If these precious lives of children would have been saved, some of them would have grown up to become soldiers defending our borders, some of them would have become doctors and engineers.”

Unveiling a giant statue of martyr Ram Samujh Yadav at Jiyanpur in Azamgarh, Akhilesh honoured family members of several martyrs of the Indian army. Like his father, socialist patriarch and former defence minister of India, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Akhilesh has maintained unwavering commitment in honouring brave hearts of Indian armed forces. As a matter of fact, the tradition of honouring defence personnel was brainchild of Mulayam Singh.

Akhilesh, during his tenure as youngest Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, extended the gesture by rewarding the highest amount of compensation to family of each martyred soldiers who belonged to the heartland province. He himself values these brave souls more out of his love and affection for the Dholpur Military school, his alma mater.

Further wowing the sizeable crowd, young leader spoke like a son of the soil. Like his father and socialist Patriarch Mulayam Singh who is renowned as “Dharti Putra” Akhilesh dwelt on the historic importance of Dharti Mata.

Honouring martyrs and their families have been long-running cherished tradition in the first family of India’s socialist movement.

Dharti Mata-Mother Earth is more sacred than Mother India. Mother Earth gives us food to eat and live. No worship possible on empty stomach. BJP people divert our attention with the slogan of Bharat Mata but they have no concern for Dharti Mata. PM Modi goes on foreign soils like Paris Climate Change conference and changes his tunes to pledge environment protection but back home his party indulge in empty sloganeering.

We are not the practitioner of the politics of vendetta and discrimination. But BJP has mastered the art of lying and discrimination. A few days ago the country celebrated the birth anniversary of hockey wizard Major Dhyan Chand as National Sports Day. Being a sportsman, I have a great respect for national game, hockey and the players. During my government, we awarded son of legendary Dhyan Chand with Yash Bharti. It’s a matter of sadness when BJP government has stopped the monthly pension scheme for awardees. I ask why BJP government is discriminatory against the hockey players and other awarded achievers.

Great gathering in Azamgarh to hear youth Icon Akhilesh speaking set the mood of the people and momentum ahead of Parliamentary polls. The Lok Sabha seat is represented by patriarch Mulayam Singh and even during the Assembly polls, the party salvaged its pride with a better performance than other districts.

Popularity of youth icon Akhilesh continues to hold its charming influence on all sections of the society. Hale and hearty disposition of veteran socialist legislator, who is byword of simplicity and honesty, Alambadi saheb on the dais was a pleasant sight.

Overwhelmed with the giant shape and size of a heartwarming crowd, Akhilesh reminded people about the value of martyrdom and sanctity of national borders. He jogged his travelling lexicon to speak about the safe borders of Europe’s mighty nation, Germany. He said, “Germany shares its border with 9 nations, yet it is the most protected one. Why can’t our borders be immune to regular skirmishes and loss of lives of innocent souls? We are safe and sound due to sacrifice of our brave heart jawans. Jai Jawan Jai Kisan, slogan of Lal Bahadur Shastri is relevant even today. Youth and farmer are fulcrum of our national progress. Central government had been showing us false dream of new India. They have been cheating youngsters and farmers.”
