Popular socialist star Akhilesh is battle ready to tear into the BJP’s Balloon. Temple Town Ayodha will witness the sounding of Parliamentary Poll bugle tomorrow.

In Faizabad 9 August to commemorate epic Quit India Movement anniversary, youth icon is ready to lead from the front.

Four months after the Assembly polls, public anger against the malevolence of Yogi-led BJP government is reaching a high level of frustration.

As a result of massive counterblow to social harmony and mismanagement of the BJP govt, Good samaritan Samajwadi Party national president Akhilesh Yadav is all set to launch a statewide ‘Desh bachao desh banao’ campaign from tomorrow to take on the BJP-led governments at the state and Centre.

Youth Icon socialist leader will kick off the campaign by addressing a big public rally, first one after the Assembly elections.

This will be the first major political campaign to be organised by the party which was in a state of membership drive after the mysterious defeat at the hands of the BJP in UP assembly election.

In the past couple of months, Asia’s largest socialist party has earned more than 12 Million new members. Growing list of SP cardholders is testament to the overwhelming belief of people of all ages, women, farmers, youth in the welfare politics of Akhilesh Yadav.

Social concern for the well-being of poor section of society, unemployed youth are the cornerstone of young socialist’s political agenda. In his debut tenure, despite hiccups on social justice programme, people at large experienced the feeling of living in a welfare state.

Leaving behind the defeat and side stepping some opportunist quitters, former Chief Minister is upbeat, confident and enthusiastic about also holding the first national convention of the party in September-end.

Providing a great deal of opportunities for hitting the streets is the BJP government of both Centre and the State. It is working with ill-will towards socialist movement and its soldiers. Modi’s government divisive agenda is an open secret and the absolute failure on economic growth front beggars description. There are blanket of despondency over the length and breadth of the country.

Down here in the heartland, such is the spitefulness of BJP government headman Yogi Adityanath for socialism that he spoke bitterly about it in a public meeting few days ago. The shaven-head Monk who is always clothed in saffron shirt and loin clothe said, “Socialism has no value in society. People should follow rashtrawaad (RSS style of divisive nationalism).”

What is nationalism without socialism? What is patriotism?
Every socialist is a proud patriot. History bears millions evidences. In fact, CM Yogi should go back to school of history, sociology and politics to understand the basic texture of our diverse rainbow society. Administering justice to satisfaction of 220 crore people with unilateral approach is only earning him ‘failed loathsome ruler’ tag.

Democracy has no future without socialism. By castigating socialist dogma, a politician is declaring his belief in dictatorship. Does one need to say more about such unpleasant thought from a Chief Minister of country’s largest state?

A few days ago, Goraknath Monastery head priest-turned-politician had shocked the world by saying that world wonder majestic Taj Mahal of Agra, Uttar Pradesh, is not the symbol of Indian tradition.

People both in the country and abroad lamented about his weird sense of history and culture. Even when he was not a Shakha-lad, he appears to have learnt some quick crash lessons in revenge and prejudice politics towards certain caste and community.

A large number of violent Incidents relating to caste killings and subsequent bitterness across the Uttar Pradesh seemed to stress the idea of feudal revenge from certain section of society. Real hatred was the motivation behind the idea of retaliation.

Akhilesh is younger to Yogi Adityanath in age. But former CM is elder to him in experience and maturity. People of India have learnt to value Akhilesh Yadav as a friend and honour him as a statesman. The environmentalist socialist is a statesman as well as a warrior.

Yogi Adityanath can learn some bright lessons from him. Only if the Monk turn over a humble servant of his state and sheds some of the super-ego pricks and come out of his ‘Vanity Van.’
